Hospitality industry always needs to follow trends and adjust for customers' needs and wants. It is important if you want your hotel to become customers' oriented. What tricks can be used to please your guests and save money?

Special of the day. It is quite common trend in gastronomy sphere. It is a discounted item of menu that can vary depending on what day it is. The special of the day will be chosen based on what products we need to sell faster to decrease our costs. For example, if we ordered too much beer, we would choose it as the special of the day to make people buy it. If the shelf-life of any ingredients (food) is getting off soon, we would include the dishes that contains them to the specials of the day. But never ever we would make the special from spoiled ingredients. 

Loyalty programs. It is quite prestigious to be a VIP (very important person) in the hospitality industry, especially in restaurants and bars. We allow our guests become a member of our loyalty program. It is in a form of a plastic card that gives either discounts or points (10 points=1 CZKn) for our products. What type of loyalty program we have depended on our customers' wants. We have made a survey to make sure what our guests prefer more.
